This means you don't have to bite down on a moulding compound for several minutes. And it is probably important to you that tooth restoration is a quick process. CEREC is therefore the ideal solution for you. For this procedure means we can undertake individual restorations in just one session.
How does CEREC treatment work?
After the consultation meeting, we photograph the conditions in your mouth with the 3D camera. We look at the data on the screen and can plan the tooth restoration straight away. As soon as the 3D model is shown on the screen, the order is sent to our in-house grinding machine, which grinds the digitally constructed tooth replacement into a ceramic block in just a few minutes. We can apply this precise tooth replacement immediately.

TOOTH REPLACEMENT
In just one session
After the consultation meeting, we photograph the conditions in your mouth with a 3D camera.
From these data, we create a 3D tooth replacement model on the computer.
This model is quickly shaped from a ceramic block.
We then put the replacement tooth in for you directly afterwards.
Good reasons to choose CEREC
The CEREC method offers many advantages. On the one hand, it makes it possible for the dentist to take the measurements of the teeth directly at the dental practice. The tedious and unpleasant taking of impressions is therefore a thing of the past. This is a major advantage for anxious patients or those with a strong gag reflex. On the other hand, we can carry out a full ceramic restoration in just one dental session - from planning to implementation. The result is visible: the high-quality tooth replacement barely differs from the natural tooth.
The advantages at a glance
- No lengthy impression-taking and no gag reflex. We have a camera that records your complete bite in minutes and transfers it to the computer.
- No tedious temporary measures. With CEREC, we put the final replacement tooth in directly.
- Just one appointment. This saves time and you are free to do other things.
- Body-compatible and aesthetic ceramics with a long duration.
- Good price-performance ratio.
Just like a real tooth - ceramic tooth replacement
The translucency of ceramic makes the tooth replacement look like a real tooth. You won’t find any dark crown margins here. As ceramic is very similar to the natural tooth in terms of hardness, the teeth won’t wear down as is often the case with other materials. Ceramic also scores points for high tolerability. It rarely causes allergic reactions.
Do you have any questions on the topic of CEREC?
You will find answers to the most frequently asked questions here.
The idea of using the CAD/CAM methods for dentistry came from Prof W. Mörmann and Dr M. Brandestini. In 1980, both scientists developed the CEREC device, and five years later the first patient treatment followed. Since then, more than 35 million restorations have been produced worldwide using CEREC. More than 250 scientific studies confirm the clinical safeness of the method.
As ceramic offers many clinical and aesthetic advantages, our tooth replacements are all-ceramic. Due to the good tolerability, it does not cause allergies and does not interact. A ceramic tooth restoration also looks perfect and cannot be differentiated from a natural tooth.
That depends on the extent of the treatment. To be able to calculate a specific price for your CEREC treatment, it is best to make an appointment and we can then discuss everything properly.
